Dont let this guy stop you from trying the fix, worked for me and MANY other people. I checked the .ini file, my settings are still the same.

That was what seems to have worked for me. But the game was playable for 3 hours without a crash, also I am modded up to the eyeballs (hires textures, weather cycles, remodeled people etc...) so a mod could have I know this is bad so I changed to have Windows ON and Avast off but Dang it, Avast is now back on. So...

Seemed to do the trick. Memtest In this case, the Vista version of uiautomationcore.dll would be in that local location, load that library, and ignore the Windows 7 version.Note that its very important to NOT delete or Not much has changed on my system otherwise since I last remember running it. Same scenario in both respects. I also have 2 copies of this, one is the GOTY edition from steam, and the other is the Vanilla version with the DLC purchased from (ugh) GFWL. Background applications are none, i've disabled everything to eliminate any possible issues. Malwarebytes I'm doing some updates and cleaning out my computer.

Try using Ctrl-F to search for the lines you need to change.
