After 3 months of enjoying every aspect of this beautiful laptop, my motherboard crapped out on me.
I can't say it won't happen to you but if you have a time where it won't turn on, no lights, no nothing, then contact a sony rep. and send that baby in. I have to say I am dissapointed with Sony but not the Vaio itself, it's an amazing little machine and it does everything you could ever use it for (gaming isn't that great, then again it's not made for that).
I recommend this baby to anyone looking for a decent size, durable, blu-ray capable, and all around amazing laptop.

Bought this computer a few weeks ago when they dropped the price. I was not disappointed. Pros: keyboard, screen size/clarity, built-in web cam, Blue Ray player, textured touch pad, durability, one button web access. Cons: Could be a little faster on boot up, but that is a typical Windows flaw.
The one button web access is a nice feature if all you want to do is access the web. Takes literally 3 seconds to get to a browser from a powered off state. The graphics are excellent, as well as, the wireless speed.
I especially like the keyboard buttons. The look and feel is very sturdy. Both the textured touch pad and textured casing resist fingerprints and have a great feel. Windows 7 is very nice. Easy to setup a Homegroup to access my desktop computer and share music and photos between the two through the wireless.
